Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer or Software Architect to join our product development team! We offer you a full-time position in a senior level role, competitive salary, and a health plan. The preferred location is either Helsinki, Jyväskylä (Finland) or Montreal (Canada), but because the team is distributed to several locations already and remote working is everyday life at Valo, do not worry too much about the location.
The responsibilities of the developers in Valo team are versatile and pretty much all tasks in Valo product development process can be your territory: specification of new features, technical design of the solution, implementation tasks, ensuring product quality, documentation of the product, building and delivering the Valo solution packages or developing build pipeline. Product development team also helps out partner management and partner support in technical issues.
We expect you to have the following knowledge and expertise:
- Few years of experience in developing solutions with Office 365, SharePoint 2013 or 2016
- Excellent teamwork skills, with independent, proactive and positive attitude
- Willingness to share your findings both with the team and the wider Valo community
- Experience in the technologies applied in modern SharePoint development is valued:
- Languages: TypeScript/JavaScript
- Frameworks / platforms: React/Angular, Redux (or similar)
- You may also have experience in PnP PowerShell, Office 365 CLI, or Electron
- The ability to multitask and work under pressure
Language skills (written and spoken)
- Required: fluent English
- Plus: proficiency in German, Spanish, French, Dutch or Finnish
